\fBrmdir\fR [-p] \fIdir\fR...
.SH DESCRIPTION
Remove the directory specified by each \fIdir\fR operand, provided it is empty.

The following options are supported:

Remove all directories in a pathname, provided they are empty.

.B --help
Display help information.
.TP
.B --version
Display version information.
.SH OPERANDS
The following operand is supported:

.I dir
A path of a directory to be removed.
.SH EXIT STATUS
The following exit values will be returned:

\ 0
Successful completion.

>0
An error occurred.
.SH STANDARDS
The \fIrmdir\fR utility is compliant with the IEEE Std 1003.2-1992 ("POSIX.2")
specification.
