FactorioGear

Player gear additions to Factorio

FactorioGear adds slightly improved player gear to Factorio.

Features

  • Reinforced steel axe with increased mining speed
  • Power armor Mk3 with a 20 by 20 equipment grid

Installation

FactorioGear can be installed from the Factorio mod portal in game:

  1. On the main menu click Mods.
  2. Select the Install tab.
  3. Search for “FactorioGear”.
  4. Select FactorioGear and click install.
  5. If Automatically enable new mods is disabled, then enable the mod in the Manage tab.

FactorioGear can also be downloaded from the mod portal or under releases and installed manually.

To install FactorioGear manually:

  1. Download a zip file for the version you want, this will look like FactorioGear_x.x.x.zip, where the x’s will be a version number.
  2. Move or copy the file into your Factorio mods folder, on Windows this is C:/Users/YourUsername/AppData/Roaming/Factorio/mods/.
  3. If Automatically enable new mods is disabled, then enable the mod in game.

Usage

In game you will need to research the Reinforced steel axe and Power armor MK3 technologies for increased mining speed and the ability to craft Power armor MK3 respectively.
